Happy Hill Essex - Short Breaks, Clubs & Activities
Essex County Council's Short Breaks Community Clubs and Activities are a range of enjoyable activities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). They help young people to make friends, take part in new activities, become independent and have fun, whilst offering parents and carers a break from additional caring responsibilities.
To access any club or activity with Happy Hill Essex Short Breaks, your child or young person must be registered with Essex County Council Short Breaks and have a short breaks passport ID number.

About Happy Hill Essex
Our aim is to support Children & Young People aged between 3 – 25 years, with challenging behaviours and/or complex health conditions, in Essex by providing supervised out of school short breaks, and information for such children and their parents/carers, to maximise their opportunities, life choices, goals and aspirations.
We offer Holiday Clubs, Saturday Clubs, Under 5's Clubs, Parent Coffee mornings and Stay and Play Sessions.
Our objectives are to provide play and educational activities which enable children and young people to enjoy developing to their full potential, to encourage children to be healthy, active and take part in physical exercise, to have the confidence, self-esteem and skills to access wider community opportunities that will enhance their future life experiences. We aim to support children to gain crucial life skills to live independently when they reach adulthood.
